Welcome to Awana at Ross Road Community Church!

Awana is an age-based ministry with curriculum designed to reach kids and families with the gospel of Jesus.  In Awana, children and teens learn how to study and memorized scripture while having fun at the same time!  They also learn about global missions and the need to serve others.

Our Awana ministry runs on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:45, starting September 20. The 2023-24 start date has been postponed until September 27.

• Cubbies: Ages 3 & 4
• Sparks: Kindergarten - Grade 2
• T&T: Grade 3-5
• Trek: Grade 6-8 
• Journey: Grade 9-12 through independent study

Students in grades 6-12 can serve as Student Leaders for the younger clubs.

All ages can work via Independent Study.  Simply choose the Online/Remote for attendance type when registering. 

Registration fee: 

There is a registration fee of $60 per child or $180 family max. to participate in Awana.  This fee covers the cost of a handbook, associated awards, and a uniform the years needed (first year in a specific age-group).  Other costs associated with running Awana are covered by the church.  The registration payment can be made by cash, cheque, or e-Transfer (giving@rossroadcc.ca).  If financial assistance is needed, contact Ellen at 778-201-1291 or ellen@rossroadcc.ca.

If you're interested in volunteering to serve as a leader, secretary, or listener, contact Ellen at ellen@rossroadcc.ca.  Substitute positions are available for those unable to commit to a weekly schedule.
